L2L = Learning to Live
We believe in giving our students a well rounded education that includes "real world" skills. Our L2L classes for middle school students are divided into intensive, quarterly courses and are designed to interest, stimulate, and challenge our students in new areas of development that will help them throughout their lives. Examples of classes are listed below.

Etiquette and Manners
A dying art in this present age, etiquette and manners are being taught at the Academy because young people should know how to conduct themselves wisely in public. They should know which actions are acceptable, and which are not. And when they get to the White House one day, they will need to know which fork to use for which course!
Personal Finance
Because not every young person knows that a credit card is not "free money", we teach a Dave Ramsey course designed for young people to give them an idea of personal responsibility in the area of finances and teach them that money goes where it is treated well.
Art
Studys show that children that are trained with an appreciation of art develop new and better critical thinking skills. The art class is a combination of art appreciation and learning techniques that enable students to complete works themselves. The different art movements are covered to develop a sense of art history. Hands on learning includes drawing, perspective, figure studies, watercolors and collage. This class develops and changes yearly to give students fresh information.
Music
One of the highlights of the year is our Christmas Pageant. All students particiapte in this musical that teaches the students how to sing and perform a musical that glorifies God.
Character
We teach our students to exhibit godly character traits, and to become people of good characterand solid stature in accordance with Romans 5:4 "And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation". NLT
